Dresden SERVE
June 25 - July 2, 2005

Dear Youth and Leaders,
We are so excited about your visit to our community!
A special hi to the participants and church members of Living Hope Community from Wisconsin, Terra Ceia CRC from North Carolina, and Fruitland CRC from Ontario. We, the volunteers, hope that you had just as much fun as (and more than) we did!

There has been plenty of media covering the work being done by the SERVE participants in the weeks preceding, during, and after the event. This includes three appearances in the local paper the North Kent Leader and two the regional paper The Chatham Daily News.

My Dear Friends, This week has been a week like no other. I have never experienced such emotions. I have been excited about meeting you wonderful people - uneasy when I saw my worldly items disappear; thrilled having my shower and bathroom so beautiful. Thankful for the cleaning out areas I was unable to do. Sadness at times mixed with such thankfulness. Thank you for coming to Dresden and being God's HANDS and FEET. I shall never forget you kind words and hard work! May God continue to keep you safe on your travels. Love in Christ, Betty
